Fantastic evening of smooth jazz at the Bubble Room, Alderley Edge!
I’ve just had the pleasure of hearing smooth edge music playing live, last Saturday night at David Lloyd Leisure in Cheadle.
This jazz band are truly in the Jools Holland league…if not better!
See them now before they hit the ‘big time’ and there ticket prices rocket.
I have booked Smooth Edge on several occasions. The band deliver a floor filling, acoustic array of soulful music complimented by some vibrant vocals. Would not hesitate in recommending highly.

We just love Elliott and Pete’s music! Having heard Smooth Edge at The Oddfellows we booked them for a bbq here on our farm and everyone enjoyed listening and dancing to Smooth Edge. So popular they were we didn’t consider anyone but Smooth Edge for our daughter and new son-in-law’s wedding celebration ‘morning after’ bbq and once again their music was utter perfection. They know exactly what type of music the audience is wanting, when to play background and when to up tempo. Can’t wait for the next excuse to invite them back again!
We have booked Smooth Edge on a regular basis since we opened in 2011. They have developed a loyal following and are certainly an extremly professional band. Some of our customers have also booked them fortheir own major events and I have no hesitation in recommending Smooth Edge.
Excellent music, there is nothing you guys can’t play, every piece you played was so enjoyable, I’m very impressed, congratulations and keep going. Thank you for the great entertainment on the 29th of March.
We really enjoyed this type of music. Fantastic evening with Elliot and his band. Nice, pleasant, calm music in the first part of the evening and dynamic , energetic
dancing music in the second part . What is a lovely combination ! Thank you very much.
I’d like to say the following:
Smooth Edge just get better and better. They move seamlessly through musical styles, always getting it right, always crowding the dance floor with dancers of all ages. If you love good music Smooth Edge are the band for any occasion.
“Smoothedge, the band are very ‘easy on the ear’ and their session ‘made our evening’
I’ve been to see Smooth Edge perform on several occasions now and incredibly, they just get better and better each time
The music they create is truly sensational, playing smooth ballads to current soulful tunes.
The singer they had with them this last time I saw them was a girl with so much talent and a rich soulful tone.
Can’t wait for their next gig!!
A great evening at this charity ball event. Talented singing, nostalgic tunes, enjoyable atmosphere, and excellent music that got everyone excited and up and moving on the dance floor. Totally recommended!
Just wanted to thank you for a fabulous evening of music at our fundraising Ball at the Lowry last Saturday.
