Showaddywaddy

Showaddywaddy were formed in 1973 in Leicester, England, from two groups, 'The Choise' and 'The Golden Hammers', the latter often being shortened to just 'The Hammers'. Showaddywaddy is still rocking with hits such as "under the moon of love", "a little bit of soap" and three steps to heaven.

The first few singles were all written by the band and these generally reached the top-20. Then they released a couple of cover versions, 'Three Steps To Heaven' and 'Heartbeat'. These both reached the top ten before SWW reverted back to the bands' own material. However, these again failed to reach the top-10, so they went back to cover-versions and they entered the top-10 once more. The cover versions were all pop versions of old rock 'n' roll songs. They were catchy tunes backed up by their colourful image, dance routines and numerous television appearances.
All Showaddywaddy's singles from 'Under The Moon Of Love' onwards were all covers.

Bucks Fizz

Bucks Fizz have lasted longer than anyone had thought as they went on to sing many more singles that the one they were originally set up to perform. Almost 20 years ofter 'making your mind up', Bucks Fizz are still performing their hits all around the world and they find themselves in much demand now as ever before.

Hermans Hermits

The mid 60's music scene was dominated by British Acts, three of which became household names - The Beatles - The Rolling stones and... Herman Hermits, who are one of the most successful groups throughout the world. From their beginning in Manchester, England, on April 1st 1964, the band has chalked up over 23 hit singles, 10 hit albums, 3 major movies and countless television shows and concert tours all over the world - up to date they have recorded sales of over 60 million.

From the sixties, through the seventies and Eighties and into the nineties and beyond... Hermans Hermits are still 'into something good'.

Hot Chocolate

Hot Chocolate has been in existence for 28 years. The original band has had a new lead singer to replace Errol Brown, but still performing all the hits, including "back seat in my cadillac", "it started with a kiss", everyone's a winner". They are the only band to have had a hit every year in the British charts during the 1970's.

Hot Chocolate have toured extensively over the years, playing such prestigious venues as Buckingham Palace for the Royal Wedding Party of Princess Diana and Prince Charles and more recently the film premier of 'Titanic'.

Shalamar

Ever since their first single hit the charts in 1977, the name SHALAMAR has stood for an exciting mix of modern pop/ R & B music and outstanding live showmanship. Through the 1980’s the group had proven to he one of America and Europe’s most famous acts. Sidney Justin the group’s leader and lead singer along with Janell Inez and Fred Ilanis, has carried on the great SHALAMAR tradition throughout the 80’s and 90’s.

SHALAMAR has toured throughout America and around the world. Their tour of Great Britain in 1997 was an overwhelming success, selling out in every city, and leaving their fans screaming and begging for more. SHALAMAR’S live performance is as exciting as excitement can get, with great vocals and synchronized dancing; it’s easy to see why an audience can’t seem to stay in their seats.
