A distinctive element of his performance is the astounding grand piano that Steve plays, as he is one of the ONLY Elton tribute acts across the world that plays the piano throughout the entire show! This gives flexibility for ‘Elton’ to play songs or even a full show in an acoustic/unplugged style, as well as with a band.
As a massively experienced musician for over 25 years, Steve has worked across the world on cruise ships, including many summer seasons, tours, musical director for Pantomimes in theatres across the UK and resident musician in the grand lounge on the QE2.
Steve’s Elton John tribute show can be booked either as a solo act, as an acoustic performance with or without backing tracks and live piano, or with the band. ‘The Crocodile Rockers’ – which features some of the Northwest’s most experienced and versatile musicians, drummer Jonny Baxter and guitarist Mark Lunt.
This exceptional trio have impeccably re-created Elton John’s amazing sound and visual extravaganzas which gives ‘The Crocodile Rockers’ the edge for every occasion, providing the perfect balance to entertain audiences all around the world!
