Shooter pay tribute to the great artists who helped to create the Sound of the 50’s & 60’s:

Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Roy Orbison, Chuck Berry, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Billy Fury, The Beatles, The ‘Mersey Beat’ Bands, The Rolling Stones, etc. and the sounds of Stax & Tamla.

Shooter have a very wide repertoire, selected from the greatest ever musical era. Their stage act chronicles the development of pop music from the mid 50’s, with the birth of Rock-n –Roll, through the magical era of Mersey Beat, to the ‘Swinging Sixties’,

“SHOOTER” with their totally live performances have appeared on TV, radio, theatre and clubs around the country, including summer seasons at The Floral Hall, Southport-1995/97 and The Villa Marina, Isle Of Man-1999 and The Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, The Billy & Wally Shows, (Radio Merseyside) the reception for The Open Golf Championship for seven consecutive years to Sandwich 2003,Bernad Manning’s “Rocking With Laughter” show and numerous 60’s festivals.

Keith Hubbard – Guitar & vocals. Keith began his career in 1963 helping to form local Ormskirk band; Ian & The Rebels. In 1969 he became a member of the British cast of the rock musical HAiR. In 1971 Keith helped to form the nationally known local rock band CALIBAN. The band were regulars at Liverpool’s legendary CAVERN CLUB and on 27th May 1973 CALIBAN were included on the bill for the Club’s closing night. During the mid 70s Keith enjoyed a term with hit pop band CHICORY TIP then, after stints with various bands, he formed SHOOTER. Keith has also appeared in numerous television series including; Minder, Coronation Street and Casualty.
Stuart Lynch- Bass guitar & vocals. As a member of blues/soul band THE RUNAWAYS, Stuart made his first appearances on stage in Liverpool during the Mersey Beat era of the mid1960s. A short time later Stuart was offered the position of bass player with The Mersey’s backing band The FRUIT EATING BEARS; who can forget their chart topping hit song Sorrow? Touring the UK and Europe, Stuart enjoyed appearances on TV and radio, gaining valuable experience in both vocal harmony and musicianship. In 1969 Stuart’s time with THE FRUIT EATING BEARS came to an end, he became a founder member the rock band BIRTHDAY, this outfit establishing a strong following throughout the 70s. More recently Stuart has appeared with both THE KP BLUES BAND, soul outfit SWITCHBACK and 60’s hit band; THE CRYING SHAMES (Please Stay).
Bob Dickenson – Drums. The foundation of any good band is an experienced, solid, reliable drummer, and in Bob Dickenson SHOOTER have one of the best. Starting his career during the 1960s in his hometown Warrington, Bob has a wide knowledge of pop and rock music. Gained from appearances with such bands as: KENNY & THE DEEPBEATS, THE STYLE and THE LEWIS GOODMAN EXPLOSION, all of whom he toured the UK, supporting such top name bands as The Who, The Walkers Brothers, The Young Rascals and many more. More recently Bob has enjoyed stints with rock `n` roll outfits, THE PURPLE GANG and THE STAND ALONES.
