40th Birthday Party, Bushey

Having seen their show at an event at bar at Fulham football ground we decided hire Jo and Laura to perform at our 25th wedding anniversary party – a large but rather relaxed do in our kitchen / garden. These two are very talented indeed – their ability to get a crowd of unexpecting party guests dancing and singing Abba songs within a couple of minutes was seriously impressive. The show itself was so professional, as the lights and sound transformed our kitchen into a stage and dancefloor. Both Jo and Laura have outstanding singing voices and stage presence which, teamed with their ostentatious retro outfits, made them the life and soul of the party. All of the songs chosen were belters, from Mamma Mia to Waterloo – and there was never a dull moment or a dip in the energy. This was helped by some well-timed and very amusing audience participation, from group dance moves to picking on the more enthusiastic individuals. Their comic and relaxed attitudes were perfect for the tone of the evening, and put at ease even the most stage-shy guests. The setting up the equipment earlier in the day was similarly a breeze, and the team were flexible enough to reassure that the show could take place whatever the weather. All in all, the performance made for a surreal and unforgettable night that was thoroughly enjoyed by all ages. I recommend the ABBA Sisters wholeheartedly and very much hope to see them again in the future!

Enjoyed a great evening at Milton Golf Club last night, The Abba Sisters tribute plus a ‘second half’ of popular disco hits really hit the spot. The dance floor was packed. The whole thing was excellent – your singing voices are brilliant, but the extra ‘wow’ factor was the showmanship and the way you interacted with the audience. You handled all the banter superbly, making everyone feel at home. It can’t be an easy job, but you did it with professionalism, personality and panache. I didn’t speak to anyone who didn’t thoroughly enjoy your performance. It was one of those evenings where I turned up thinking the entertainment would be mediocre at best, but you totally exceeded expectations! Well done ladies, you’re a class act.
