The Bag Rockers’ five piece band features the zany, pink mohawked frontman/guitarist Gregor “G-Man” James who, for four years, zoomed around the world as original guitarist/frontman in the The Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Playing alongside Gregor are two highly experienced grade one professional pipers and completing the line-up, adding further Scottish spice to the shindig, are two female professional acrobatic dancers.
In their performances The Bag Rockers utiliise elements of pre-recorded material to create the big sound of a full Celtic-rock band but without the stress of a stage full of equipment. This makes them the ideal size to perform as the ‘featured act’ at awards ceremonies and other events where stage space is at a premium. From a three piece act to a stage full of musicians, The Bag Rockers can provide a bespoke show tailored to suit the needs of your event.
As well as regularly delivering showstopping performances to get the wedding party started, The Bag Rockers can also provide the whole day’s ( and night’s ) entertainment in our own inimitable way – ideal for couples who are looking for that something extra special on the big day – relaxed in the knowledge that the whole entertainment requirements are covered in the one all-inclusive service.
Their wedding package provides two Grade 1 pipers to welcome guests to the ceremony and pipe you to the top table, a sound system with the use of microphones for all speeches, background music, etc., an evening performance from The Bag Rockers, an hilarious Ceilidh dance calling and demonstration set from the G-man and a DJ set for the rest of the evening ( or full wedding band if required ) with all your favourite requests and party anthems , all overseen by their own professional sound engineer.
