The band were amazing to work with from day one, making a huge journey from the north of England across the channel to Guernsey, without any hassle or complaint. I booked Capone for my wedding in April. We had Capone as a three piece (as we did not have a lot of space in the venue).

Claire got in contact with me in plenty of time before the event to discuss our requirements (playlists for the live music and DJ sets, timings etc). Claire was a great help with all this and as a result organising the band was one of the easiest parts of the wedding which really took the pressure off other areas. Claire and the band also agreed to learn a new song for our first dance and their rendition of it on the day was excellent.

On the day the band arrived in plenty of time and worked with the hotel staff to get themselves in and set up (again, one less thing for me to do). From the time they started the first set to the last song the dance floor was full. I think either on the night or since, every one of my guests (without exception and without exaggerating) have said just how good they thought the band were. I was extremely impressed and we did not miss having more musicians there. I am not sure how they did it, but it certainly sounded more like a 5 piece band than a 3 piece.
We had a few older guests, who did not want to dance and who would rather spend the time talking and catching up. I knew from previous events that they found overly-loud DJs quite alienating and did not generally enjoy events where they had to really shout to be heard. Thankfully Capone pitched it just right, so everyone could enjoy the music.

I would recommend Capone to anyone thinking of hiring a band and I would strongly urge anyone thinking of hiring a DJ to forget it and hire Capone instead. Without a doubt they really made the evening special for everyone and had a really good rapport with the guests. I will definitely be booking with them for any future events.

We hope you were looked after by the catering staff and had enough refreshments for the day. You all fitted in really well and were a pleasure to have in our home. We really appreciated the use of the PA system too. The speeches ran over a little which made things a little later than predicted but all well in the end. Thank you once again to everyone.
