We were very pleased with her performance; so we decided to book Jayne again for our Valentine’s Dance in February 2014, at Westbourne Court in Bramcote. Jayne Darling really encompassed the look of the 1940s with her vintage style, and her melodic voice transported the residents at both Scalby Close and Westbourne Court back in time. She consistently engaged with the residents throughout the show. One resident at Westbourne Court said: “we had a great time at the event for Valentine’s Day. The 1940s look was fantastic and Jayne had a lovely voice. More events like this in the future, please!” Broxtowe Borough Council wouldn’t hesitate in asking Jayne back for future events.” Broxtowe Borough Council “Miss Jayne Darling performed for us recently at one of our Business Network Social events, with over one hundred business professionals present at the Galleries of Justice Museum, Jayne’s music welcomed guests upon arrival and from start to finish was a flawless and extremely entertaining set, Jayne is very professional and really does look the part in her vintage outfits and styling, I would highly recommend her and cannot wait to hear her again!” Fiona Duncan, RSViP “Jayne Darling recently sang at a vintage fair which was organised by a local charity. Her voice was beautiful, her style was perfect for the occasion and her smile was infectious. She entertained the crowds for the majority of the day with a wide range of material. Versatile and vivacious, Jayne was one of the highlights of the day”. Harrogate Spring Vintage Fair “Jayne sang at a vintage burlesque event that I organised. She was a fantastic success. All the guests I spoke to raved about her beautiful voice. She was a pleasure to work with. Professional, enthusiastic and excellent value for money she added some extra class and sparkle to the event.” Harriet B “We regularly feature performances by local Choirs and musical groups at Christmas, much to the great enjoyment of our Customers at Brookfields Garden Centre. It was a real pleasure to welcome Jayne Darling who performed for us one busy Saturday in December. A really friendly manner and willingness to sing those songs our customers would enjoy made having her with us a real pleasure. It is not often we receive feedback from customers but many commented how lovely it was to hear a fresh and lively performance of well loved songs; the choirs are wonderful but Jayne added another dimension to our festivities. Most importantly she has a terrific voice and we will be so very happy to welcome her back to Brookfields for any major events during the course of the year and certainly want her back for Christmas! I would recommend Jayneto any organisation or individual wanting entertainment of such a professional standard with a friendly enthusiastic approach.” “Many thanks for your stunning performance. You make a huge difference to the kind of day patients have and the positive impact of what you do goes beyond that because you remind people that life is joyful.” Nottinghamshire Hospice “I have heard Jayne sing on many occasions and as always have been bowled over by her enchanting voice. Jayne came in every morning for a week to sing well-known favourites from the 1940’s era with a modern twist. Jayne looked the part too, with a wardrobe of gorgeous vintage dresses and accessories she charmed all of us. Our patients loved the entertainment and Jayne’s lovely approach to meeting people added to this. A huge thank you to Jayne, and if you have the chance to see her perform, do not miss out!
