The band also offers a number of services to make your event, wedding or party ‘a touch more special’ which include: first dance option, acoustic set, iPod playlists and a free DJ service.

Slinky provides the highest quality equipment for all its events. PA and lighting equipment is PAT tested and we hold full PL Insurance which will meet the criteria for all venue types.

Performances can be split into 2 x 45min or 2 x 60min sets to suit the style of event and at a time of your choice. If you require different performance times this can be easily arranged. After gaining entry to the performance area, please allow us 90mins to fully set up.

EQUIPMENT
The band have invested in the best possible sound equipment and use a top of the range 2000 watt Electro Voice PA system with a matched pair subwoofer speakers to provide a deep and true sound. The system can easily handle most event types (up to 300 guests). Slinky also have their own self-contained stage lighting system 2 x NJD Spectres , 2 x SNIP Lasers , 3 x American DJ Mega Panels and smoke machine all with ‘sound-to-light’ controllers as standard.

DRESS
The Band can tailor their look to suit your needs on the night. For Corporate Events or Weddings they can dress formally in suits or black attire and for private parties and less formal events they can take a more casual approach if you prefer.

ACOUSTIC SET
Slinky are able to offer a 1 x 40 minute free Acoustic Set as part of the night time entertainment, or for an additional fee can perform 2 x 30 min sets in the afternoon which is perfect for drinks during Receptions or Wedding Breakfasts.

DJ SERVICE
As well as offering free iPod playlists Slinky also offers a FREE DJ option that runs when the band are not performing. This is performed by a member of the band operating a laptop with professional DJ mixing software and 1000s of party classics old and modern to keep the dance floor full! The benefits of this service are that your guests are able to make requests for the DJ to play, and with the DJ being a member of the band and sharing their equipment, the space utilized at the venue is kept to a minimum… and so looks very tidy
