Saxophonist
Tom is based in Manchester, UK. He studied Saxophone at the Royal Northern College of Music on the infamously challenging “Joint Course” with University of Manchester. He studied Jazz with Steve Berry and Tim Garland under a scholarship kindly granted for Jazz study by The Kinder Family Trust Fund and with Sponsorship from The Royal Society of Musicians.
Tom now works internationally as a performer and composer in Jazz, Classical and Commercial Music. His professional life involves work in a variety of disciplines such as session touring and studio work, theatre pit work, multi-instrumental positions and original jazz projects. He accepts commissions from Classical performers for new works, as well as composing for commercial briefs including Film/TV and arranging.

Tom is a graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music and now performs all over the world as an award-winning professional saxophonist/composer. He can be seen with his own projects at Jazz festivals across the globe and has performed as a session musician at world leading venues including The Royal Albert Hall, O2 Arena, Manchester Arena and Glastonbury Festival. He is privileged to work with legendary pop acts including Black Grape, Peter Hook, Doves, Simple Minds and Everything Everything as well as commercial work for TV/Film at the BBC, Channel 5 and ITV.

His live work has taken him across Europe including gigs at Glastonbury, Leeds, Green Man and Manchester International Festivals as well as legendary venues such as The Cavern Club, Manchester Arena, Silverstone Race Track, Maidervale Studios and The O2.
